Prisser is a district of the city of Dannenberg (Elbe) in the joint municipality of Elbtalaue in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
Directly on the eastern outskirts of Prisser, about two kilometers west of the city center of Dannenberg, runs a diked arm of the Jeetzel (also " Jeetzel Canal"), through which the main part of the river's water volume now flows. The arm of the river was created as part of the Jeetzel improvement .
history
On February 1, 1971 Prisser was incorporated into the town of Dannenberg (Elbe).
Jewish Cemetery
The Jewish cemetery in Dannenberg is located northwest of Prisser in a wood . There are 45 tombstones in total . Jews from Bergen / Dumme , Clenze , Hitzacker , Lüchow and Wustrow were also buried in the cemetery.
