Baron Rowallan

Baron Rowallan , of Rowallan in the County of Ayr , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

The family seat of the barons used to be Rowallan Castle near Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire and is now Meiklemosside near Fenwick in East Ayrshire.

Award

The title was created on June 27, 1911 for the liberal politician and former MP Archibald Corbett .

Today's title holder has been his great-grandson as 4th Baron since 1993.
