Baron Tenterden
Baron Tenterden , of Hendon in the County of Middlesex , was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on July 15, 1850 for Lord Chief Justice Sir Charles Abbott .
The title expired on the death of his great-grandson, the 4th Baron, on September 16, 1939.
