The Espoo Metro Areena is a multi-purpose hall in the Tapiola district of the Finnish city of Espoo . It is mainly used for ice hockey games and was the home arena of the Espoo Blues . The Espoo Metro Areena opened in 1999 and has a capacity of 7,017 for ice hockey games. For concerts, the capacity can be increased to up to 8,414 seats.
In addition to ice hockey, the hall is also used for concerts, exhibitions and conferences.
