The Lappi-areena ( German Lapland -Arena ) is a multifunctional hall in the Finnish city of Rovaniemi . The arena, which opened in 2003, is where the Rovaniemen Kiekko ice hockey club plays its home games. The hall is also used for other sporting events, concerts and trade fairs. The Lappi-areena offers space for up to 3500 spectators for ice hockey games, the maximum capacity - for concerts for example - is 4780 seats.
