Barotti

Barotti was intended as a measure of weight for the carnation trade on the Moluccas with the islands of Amboina , Batavia and Ternate . For other goods, such as rice , the coyang , pikol or katti were intended.

  • 1 Bahar / Baar / Bhaar = 50 Barotti

The Bahar had 270.692 kilograms , which is calculated for the Barotti about 5.41 kilograms.
