Barry Sanders (sociolinguist)
Barry Sanders (born October 27, 1938 ) is an American sociolinguist .
Until 2005, Sanders was professor of English literature and the history of ideas at Pitzer College in Claremont (California) and author of The Loss of Language Culture : [the pistol is the writing implement of the illiterate].
