Bars and Melody (BAM) are a British pop duo consisting of rapper Leondre "Bars" Devries and singer Charlie "Melody" Lenehan.

Career

The two took part in the eighth series of Britain's Got Talent 2014. After playing their self-written song "hopeful", head judge Simon Cowell sent them straight to the semi-finals by pressing the golden horn ( golden buzzer ) and ended up in third place. The single reached number 5 on the UK charts.

On July 30, 2014, they released the first new song Shining Star , an extra for the acoustic version of Hopeful . Bars and Melody released their debut studio album 143 on August 21, 2015, It peaked at number four in the UK charts. A year later they released the album Teen Spirit . The third album Generation Z was released in 2017 .

In 2017 they went on tour through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Japan.
