Life

Aneta Sablik, (2016)

Sablik grew up in Bielsko-Biała in southern Poland. At the age of 19 she moved to Cracow to study at the Transform Drama School. Later she studied cultural studies in Bielsko-Biała. In 2012 she came to Germany because the DJ and music producer Kevin Zuber ( Kevin David ) wanted to record a song with her. They became a couple, later moved to Elmshorn and married at the end of 2016. In August 2017 they officially separated. In April 2018, Sablik announced that the couple separated two weeks after the wedding, but only later made this public.

In 2014 Sablik took part in the eleventh season of the German talent show Deutschland sucht den Superstar . She won the show with 57.9% of the calls and her song The One produced by B-Case , Djorkaeff and Beatzarre . The song was made available for download on the same evening and shortly after its release reached number 1 on the download charts in German-speaking countries. As the first DSDS song, the track was released on May 6, 2014 in other European countries.

The One reached number 1 in the German, Austrian and Swiss singles charts. Sablik sang the song shortly after the finale on May 11, 2014 on the ZDF TV Garden and on May 16 on Let's Dance . Her debut album, also called The One , was released on May 23, 2014. It reached number 11 in the German album charts and number 14 in Austria. In July 2014 she performed together with other former candidates at two concerts under the title DSDS - Live on Tour in Austria.

From August to September 2014, eight and then 18 of the 20 concerts scheduled for their Just Me tour in Germany were canceled, including the opening concert planned in Munich. The tour consisted of only two appearances, the beginning in October in Mannheim and the end in November in Erfurt. In May 2015 Sablik released a music video for their new song Popcorn Party on YouTube together with MC Popcorn .

Together with Géraldine Olivier , Aneta Sablik founded the Mamy Beat Project, which released the single Mamy Blue , a cover by Ricky Shayne , in June 2016 . Her single Ulala was released in January 2017 . With the song, Sablik applied to the Polish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 and took the penultimate place.
