Frans Axel Östrand (born May 15, 1909 in Örnsköldsvik , † May 11, 2005 ibid) was a Swedish ski jumper .

Career

Östrand, who started for IF Friska Viljor , jumped at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Sollefteå in 1934 in singles on the normal hill at 45 and 55 meters. This put him in 20th place.

Two years later he started at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . In the singles from the Olympic hill, he landed at 61 and 68 meters and thus reached 22nd place.
