The eleventh season of the German singing casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar was broadcast from January 8 to May 3, 2014 on the RTL television program. In the final, Aneta Sablik beat Meltem Acikgöz and Daniel Ceylan.
procedure
On March 13, 2013 RTL announced that there would be an eleventh season. The season started on Wednesday, January 8th, 2014. Last year's moderator duo was reduced to Nazan Eckes . Next to permanent juror Dieter Bohlen sit rapper Prince Kay One , pop singer Marianne Rosenberg and Mieze Katz , singer of the band MIA. , at the jury desk. In the casting rounds, each candidate selected a gold CD with the name of the juror, whose vote should be the decisive factor for advancement or elimination in the event of an undecided jury vote. Conversely, in the recall in the Congress Center Düsseldorf , each juror could award a gold CD to two of the 98 recall participants and send them directly to the re-recall in Cuba. From the women and men appearing separately, the jury selected 15 candidates each according to the changed rules, seven of them on a gold CD , as Dieter Bohlen did not award any in the women's group. There were also three casting participants, for whom 20 candidates preselected by RTL could vote on the Internet for four days in October 2013.
Re-recall
The re-recall started with 16 women and 17 men and Jorge Gonzalez as a choreographer in the old town of Havana . As in the recall, the candidates appeared separately by gender in groups of three or four with songs of their choice. In the first re-recall episode, they drove with pink or blue painted vintage cars and a chauffeur in front of the jury desk built in the middle of a street and were able to include the vehicle and the street people watching in the performance . In the next broadcast, a mixed-gender duet or trio appearance in Havana meant the end for five candidates, as well as beach appearances for three or four, the return flight for two other candidates. The stage set up for the next episode took place in a jungle landscape near Varadero , after gender-homogeneous appearances in duets and trios, the jury selected the majority of Swiss and Austrian participants. In the last episode of the re-recall, each candidate appeared individually before the jury, sometimes with a vocal performance. This sent half of the last twenty to the live challenge shows and five candidates from the other half, who were initially eliminated, to the shaky candidate voting, in which two more places were available.
