Claudia Leitte
Claudia Leitte (born on July 10, 1980 in São Gonçalo , Rio de Janeiro , as Claudia Cristina Leite Inácio Pedreira ) is one of the best-known singers in Brazil and was best known in Europe for her contribution to the official song of the 2014 World Cup .
Career
Claudia Leitte began her career as a front singer and leading figure in the Axé group Babado Novo . After their separation in 2008, she began a successful solo career with numerous tours such as Sette Tour (2009) and As Máscaras e Rhytmos Tour (2010). She recorded her first solo album Ao Vivo em Copacabana on February 17, 2008 at a show in front of 700,000 spectators on Copacabana Beach.
She also appeared at major events outside of Brazil, such as the Brazilian Days in Miami . She received an advertising contract with the Guaraná Antarctica beverage brand . Leitte supports a campaign against drugs.
