The final
The final was broadcast live on RTL television in the ISS Dome Düsseldorf on May 7, 2016 . The first ten sang as a group song in 1999 . In addition, the first six appeared again with We lift off from Dieter Bohlen. In addition, there were some of the weirdest DSDS candidates of the entire 13th season, Aische Pervers , Kazim Akboga , die Papayas, as well as permanent candidate and jungle king Menderes Bağcı with their own songs Caffé Latte , I don't care , With DSDS everything is allowed and Music Is My Life on the stage. During the show, Thomas Katrozan left the show as third place after the 1st decision. This year's final song is the song Glücksmoment composed by Dieter Bohlen and was sung by the two finalists Prince Damien and Laura van den Elzen . The second decision was then announced: Prince Damien Ritzinger won the 13th season and thus € 500,000 and a record deal. Laura van den Elzen came second. Laura van den Elzens and Thomas Katrozan's versions of the winning song Glücksmoment were also offered on the download portals during the show. According to media reports, the final broadcast fell short of expectations with 3.6 million viewers (in the first season, the live shows reached up to 15 million viewers). It was also criticized that the local audience was largely ignored, despite the high entrance fees.
