Thomas Katrozan (* 29. April 1980 in Borna ) is a German musician and pop singer , who in third place of the 13th season of the RTL - talent show looking for Germany the superstar became known.

Life

Thomas Katrozan (aka cat ) took piano lessons as a child and taught himself to play the guitar . At high school he was a co-founder of the school band. After graduating from high school , Katrozan began studying cultural studies and ethnology , which he broke off to train as a sound engineer . Sometimes he was unemployed, occasionally he also worked as a party DJ, stage and stand builder. In 2012 he founded in Leipzig , the Reggae - Blues band Captain Cat , who had now numerous appearances in Leipzig. He can be seen on some YouTube videos together with Captain Katzen. He achieved further fame in 2015 as a seasonal worker and entertainer at the Belantis amusement park .

From January 2 to May 7, 2016, Thomas Katrozan was a candidate for Deutschland sucht den Superstar / Season 13 . His first appearance in casting form took place on January 16, 2016. He reached 3rd place in the final on May 7, 2016. He then went on tour with the DSDS Top 6 Live in Concert show from May 22 to June 8, 2016 .
