Barsuki ( belarusian Барсукі ; Russian Барсуки ) is a Chutor in Selsawet Bakschty , Rayon Iuje , Grodno Region , Belarus . The settlement is located in the southeast of the Rajons. In 1986 the village and its surroundings were badly affected by the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster . Today the Khutor and 77 other localities of the Iuje Rajon belong to the area with increased radiation values and are located in the zone of periodic radioactivity control . In 1999 the settlement consisted of six farms and had seven residents. Barsuki had the highest documented population, 84 residents and ten farms, in 1909; In 1940 the settlement had 18 farms with 70 inhabitants.
