Bartholomea Maria Capitanio
Bartholomäa Maria Capitanio (born February 13, 1807 in Lovere , Italy ; † July 26, 1833 ibid) was an Italian religious woman and founder of the order .
She started teaching at the age of 15. Together with Vincenza Gerosa , she founded the order “ Suore della Carità di s. Bambina Maria ”(“ Sisters of Love from the Child Maria ”). Bartholomea died just eight months later. She was beatified on May 30, 1926 - and together with Vincenza Gerosa on May 18, 1950 by Pope Pius XII. canonized .
