The Bary Glacier is a glacier on the south coast of South Georgia . It flows south of the Christophersen Glacier in a westerly direction to Jacobsen Bight and cuts through the longest sediment sequence on the island, which lies between the Christophersen Glacier and Cape Darnley .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1982 after Thomas de Bary, one of the first directors of the Argentine fishing company Compañía Argentina de Pesca, founded in 1904 by the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur Carl Anton Larsen .
