Basil of Seleukeia
Basil of Seleukeia (also Basilius of Seleukia ; died after 458) was Orthodox Bishop of Seleukeia on Kalykadnos and author of several theological writings.
His year of birth is unknown. Between 432 and 447 he became Bishop of Seleukeia. In 448 he took part in the Synod of Constantinople , which dealt with the statements of Presbyter Eutyches . In 448 he took part in the Council of Ephesus . Basil died after 458.
