Basilica of San Nicola da Tolentino

The Basilica of San Nicola da Tolentino is a Roman Catholic pilgrimage church in Tolentino in the Italian province of Marken in the diocese of Macerata-Tolentino-Recanati-Cingoli-Treia . It is also the monastery church of an Augustinian convent.

The Basilica minor , built in the 13th century, is named after St. Nicholas of Tolentino , who died here on September 10, 1305 and whose bones are kept in the crypt of the Basilica of San Nicola da Tolentino. It is therefore one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in Italy.

The church building forms the north wing of the cloister of the monastery complex.
