The Bucharest St. Basil's Cathedral

The St. Basil's Cathedral is the first Romanian Uniate Church in Bucharest , built and consecrated in 1909 by Archbishop Raymund power hammer . The church is located at Strada Polonă 50, in the center of the capital Bucharest. Since 2014 the church has been the Cathedral of the Eparchy of Saint Basil the Great in Bucharest .

The White Church of Baia (15th century) served as the architectural source of inspiration for the project .

The wall painting of the church was created in 1911 by Gottfried Schiller and Julius Ostermaier from Ravensburg .
