Basse Area Council

The Basse Area Council (BAC) is the regional council of the Upper River Region in the West African state of Gambia with its seat in Basse Santa Su . The Council leads a ruler ( English Chairman ) on. Foday Danjo ( United Democratic Party ) has held this position since the regional elections in Gambia in 2018 on May 12, 2018 .

The following council members have been elected in the 2018 regional elections: Ebrima Manneh (GDC), Ousainou Mahanera (UDP), Sainey Kanuteh (UDP), Yuba Jawara (UDP), Bubacarr Saho (UDP), Ebrima F. Sissoko (UDP), Alhagie Sanyang ( UDP), Musa Tunkara (independent), Abdourahman Camara (GDC), Mbye Touray (UDP), Alhagie Kijera (GMC), Ebrima Danso (GDC), Omar Garry (PDOIS) and Sarja FK Kamateh (PDOIS).
