Basso cantante
Basso cantante ( German "Singender Bass" also high bass ) is a vocal range .
Typical of Basso cantante is in addition to the characteristic Basstimbre a radiant height (up to f k1 - g1 ) and slightly duller (compared to other basses) lower position. High bass is often confused with bass-baritone , since many operatic roles are occupied by both voices. Basso cantante also includes playing bass.
