The Battle Lake is a lake in the southwest of the US state Alaska on the western flank of the northern Aleutian chain .

The approximately 12.5 km² large and 254  m high lake is completely in the Katmai National Park . The 15 km long and only 1.2 km wide elongated lake is oriented in a north-westerly direction. It is flanked on the sides by 1000  m high mountains of the Aleutian chain. The lake has no major tributaries. On the west bank, Battle Lake is drained by a three-mile long river to nearby Kukaklek Lake . The Battle River Wilderness Retreat Lodge is located at the outflow point . Recreational activities on the lake include fly fishing and bear photography .
