Westerdeich farmhouse

The Westerdeich farmhouse is located in Bremen , Woltmershausen district, Rablinghausen district, Westerdeich 146. It has been a listed building in Bremen since 1978 .

history

The single-storey, plastered half-timbered house with a thatched half- hipped roof and the horses' heads as gable decorations above the owl hole was probably built in the 18th century, perhaps during the classicist era . At this time Rablinghausen had around 100 inhabitants with the Deichkirche ( Kark an 'Diek ) from 1750, which is very close. An old canal project on this street from before 1914 was not implemented, but all other old farmhouses on the street were demolished.

Today (2018) the city building is used as a residential building.
