Julian Waldner

Julian Waldner (* 1996 in Sankt Veit an der Glan , Carinthia ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

Julian Waldner was born in Carinthia and u. a. grew up in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee . His mother is active in vocational and educational orientation, his father is a judge . Waldner, who has a younger brother, passed his Matura at the Musisches Gymnasium BRG Viktring in 2014 and then served in the army . Since 2015 he has been studying acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna , where he was accepted from over 800 applicants. At the Max Reinhardt Seminar he received role lessons a. a. with Elisabeth Augustin , Martin Schwanda , Janusz Cichocki and Florian Teichtmeister . He is expected to finish his training there in spring 2019.

Waldner already stood on a stage as a teenager, for the first time at the age of 13. Julian Waldner has been a member of the Klagenfurt Youth Theater Club at the Klagenfurt City Theater since 2010 . During his training he took part in several theater productions at the Max Reinhardt Seminar. a. in the title role of Dawn King's play Foxfinder and in April 2018 as “wonderfully eccentric Bibelfuzzi” in Ingrid Lausund's comedy Benefiz - Everyone saves an African .

In 2017 and 2018 he was a guest at the “New Vienna People's Theater Festival”. In August 2018 he appeared in Theodora Bauer's play papier.waren.pospischil and in the play Der Chinese by Benjamin Lauterbach at the “Hin & Weg” festival, the “Days for Contemporary Theater Entertainment”, in Litschau . In the 2018/19 season he will take on the leading role in the play Leon Pirat (based on the book by Christine Nöstlinger ) at the Lower Austria State Theater .

He acted in various films, including a. in several short films at the Vienna Film Academy . In the television film If you know how beautiful it is here (2015) from the country crime film series, he played a major supporting role, directed by Andreas Prochaska and alongside Gerhard Liebmann ; he played Luis Sereinig, the suspect friend of the murdered maturing dance bride.

Waldner, whose hobbies include music (singing, piano) and sports , lives in Vienna.
