Janusz Cichocki

Janusz Cichocki (* 1955 ) is a Polish actor , theater director and acting lecturer who works primarily in Germany .

Career

Cichocki attended the State University of Film, Television and Theater Łódź from 1973 to 1977 . In Germany he was seen for the first time in 1992 in the crime drama Die Tigin in a small role as an Armenian. This was followed by work for crime series such as At Your Own Risk , Tatort , SK Kölsch , Wolffs Revier , Balko and others. In 2003 the actor appeared in two episodes of the television series Lindenstrasse in the role of Pavel Marek. In 2011 he was cast as Jenö Majoré in five episodes of the telenovela Storm of Love . In the same year he played the role of Colonel Svoboda in the two-part German historical drama Go West - Freedom at all costs . In 2013 he worked in the miniseries Our Mothers, Our Fathers as a Polish farmer and in 2015 in the film drama Nackt unter Wölfen , a literary adaptation based on Bruno Apitz .

Various television productions followed, such as Polizeiruf 110 (four different roles), SOKO Leipzig (three different roles) and Der Usedom-Krimi (episode Winterlicht ).

From 1985 to 2014 Cichocki worked as a drama lecturer at the Fritz Kirchhoff Acting School in Berlin, from 2000–2014 as an acting lecturer at the Transformschauspielschule Berlin, from 2012 to 2014 as an acting lecturer at the State Ballet and Artistic School Berlin. Since 2014 he has been professor for ensemble work and role design at the Max Reinhardt Seminar Vienna.

2013 - obtaining a doctorate in the field of theater arts.
