Raymond Ley
Raymond Ley (born October 16, 1958 in Kassel ) is a German author , film and television director . He is best known in the field of documentary fiction .
Life
From 1979 Ley studied at the University of Fine Arts in Kassel . As early as 1982 he was working as a filmmaker and was co-founder of the Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival with the "Filmladen Kassel". Since 1984, several of his feature films have received funding from the federal states of Hesse, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. Since 1991 he has worked as a freelance director and author, filming and writing, among others, for the broadcasters ARD, MDR and NDR.
