Building cybernetics

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Baukybernetik is a field of civil engineering , which for the planning and execution of construction processes used or design of building structures cybernetic methods. It can be viewed as a branch of corporate cybernetics.

Development and definition

According to Michael Frahm, building cybernetics is an umbrella term. This subsumes all building cybernetic methods under itself. Heinz Grote is considered a pioneer of building cybernetics in German-speaking countries, and he began using cybernetic methods on his building sites in the 1990s . In addition to the use of cybernetic methods (e.g. bio- cybernetics , management cybernetics ), the building cybernetics' approach is essential in building cybernetics, namely that every building process can be non-linear and disrupted from the start. Accordingly, it can only be mastered to a limited extent with constructivist-technological methods. With this basic attitude, building cybernetics is also committed to sustainable and cooperative building.

In contrast to non-European countries, a building cybernetics community has formed in German-speaking countries, which is developing and establishing building cybernetics. There are the following institutions and methods:
