Building mass
The building mass is the sum of all room contents of all full floors and all permitted lounges in the attic and basement floors. This also includes the ceilings and walls of the affected rooms. The degree of structural use can be determined from the building mass .
The use of the term 'mass' for volume is common in the German construction industry - but contradicts the SI units.
