Baumoosalm

The Baumoosalm is an alpine pasture in the municipality of Oberaudorf .

Two alpine huts , the Sockhütte and the Lechnerhütte of the Baumoosalm, are under monument protection and are registered in the Bavarian Monument List under the number D-1-87-157-89 .

Building description

One of the two listed alpine huts of the Baumoosalm is a one-story, partly shingled wooden building with a flat shingle roof, the ridge purlin of which is marked with the year 1748, an extension took place in 1872.The second Almkaser is a ground-floor block building with a flat saddle roof , the one in the second half was built in the 18th century.

Other buildings on the Alm are a chapel as well as the Buchauerhütte , the Eiblwieserhütte , the Fritzn-Hütte , and the Vorderauerhütte .

The Baumoosalm is bumped .

The Baumoosalm is located in the Mangfall Mountains on Baumoosbach north below the Steilner Joch at an altitude of 1200  m above sea level. NN .
