Building status report

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A building status report is a report on the status of work in the construction of a structure . It provides information about the degree of completion of the property and serves as evidence for the builder that the budgeted costs are being met and for the building financier that the down payments requested correspond to the building status. It is carried out by the expert third party commissioned with the construction management, e.g. B. an architect , manufactured, signed and provided with photo documentation.

Construction status reports are usually part of the contract concluded by the client with the building contractor or the architect, which is why they have a third-party protection effect against the client or the building financier. Incorrect construction status reports can therefore trigger liability on the part of the creator.
