Bautista Saavedra Mallea
Bautista Saavedra Mallea (born August 30, 1870 , † May 1, 1939 ) was President of the Republic of Bolivia , first from 1920 to 1921 as a member of a government junta, and then from 1921 to 1925 as elected President. He died in exile in Chile on May 1, 1939.
The Bolivian province of Bautista Saavedra today bears his name in his honor.
