The BayernInvest capital Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH with its headquarters in the Bavarian state capital Munich is the investment company of the BayernLB and part of the Savings Banks Association of Bavaria .

The Bayern Invest Luxembourg S. A. went out, which was founded in 1991 Bayernlux Management Company S.A. forth. It was integrated into BayernInvest as a subsidiary in 2013. The company traded for the Deutsche Kreditbank with public funds with regional names such as DKB Europe Fund, DKB North America Fund, DKB Asia Fund (as of 2016) and DKB Future Fund (as of 2016).

Managing directors

The management consists of the Speaker of the Management Board Alexander Mertz and managing directors Michael Brown and Marjan Galun.

history

BayernInvest was founded in 1989. The first advisory mandates were launched in 1994. BayernInvest Master-KVG was expanded into an independent business area in 2003. In 2003, the tasks of the Asset Management division for institutional investors at BayernLB were taken over and pooled for the group. The previous sister company BayernInvest Luxembourg SA was taken over in 2013 and the offer was expanded to include fund solutions in accordance with Luxembourg law in Germany. The BaFin issued a business license as AIF Capital Management Company in addition to the existing business license as UCITS capital management company. At the same time, the business license was expanded to include the management of open special AIFs and open investment limited partnerships. BayernInvest is renamed BayernInvest Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH.
