Baykal Kent

Baykal Kent (born January 1, 1943 in Istanbul , † February 6, 2012 in Bursa ) was a Turkish actor .

Kent mostly played comic roles. His career began at the age of 16 in Yeşilçam films as an extra and in small roles. From 1969 he was also active in the theater; five years later came his breakthrough as a comedy actor in film. He often worked for over 25 years with Ferhan Şensoy , of whose Istanbul ensemble "Ortaoyuncular" he belonged. By the late 1980s, Kent concentrated on numerous comedy shows on Turkish private broadcasters.

Since 2008 he lived in Bursa, where he gave theater courses.
