Bazini (unit)

Bazini was a volume measure for dry goods (so-called grain measure ) on the island of Corsica .

  • 1 bazini = 8.44 liters (calculated from Amsterdam load)

The dimensional chain was

  • 1 stajo (cors.) = 2 mezini = 12 bazini = 101.26 liters
  • 29 2/3 Stajo (cors.) = 1 Amsterdam load = 3003.912 liters
