The Bear Lake is a lake in King County in the State of Washington . It is the source of the Taylor River .
It can be reached from Deer Lake by hiking over 1.1 km via the Snoqualmie Lake Trail, which eventually changes into the Miller River system and reaches Lake Dorothy .
After leaving the lake, the Taylor River tumbles over a small waterfall, which is said to be visible from Deer Lake.
