Beate Böhlen , also Bea Böhlen , (born November 29, 1966 in Baden-Baden ) is a Baden-Württemberg politician from Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen . From 2011 to 2019 she was a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament . Since November 2019, she has succeeded Volker Schindler as the ombudsman for the state of Baden-Württemberg.

education and profession

Beate Böhlen completed an apprenticeship as an educator at the Elly-Heuss-Knapp-Schule in Bühl and worked for several years in Baden-Baden. She then studied social work at the Catholic University of Freiburg .

Political activity

Beate Böhlen has been a member of your party since 1995. From 1999 to 2004 she was chairwoman of the Baden-Baden local association and from 2001 to 2003 chairwoman of the Rastatt / Baden-Baden district association.
