The two-storey eaves building is essentially medieval .

The building, which is considered a typical medieval craftsman 's shack, belonged to Semlower Straße 9 , whose Kemladen it was , until 1945 . It housed a shoemaker's shop until the 1990s.

The original structure of the facade can be seen in its remains since a renovation in 1976, during which the Gothic masonry was partially exposed.
