The building with the postal address Semlower Straße 9 is a listed building on Semlower Straße in Stralsund , on the corner of Bechermacherstraße .

The three-storey and towards Semlower road triaxial and gable permanent stucco building was built in 1682, with medieval buildings was included. The house at Bechermacherstraße 2 was originally the main store of the building.

The facade shows colossal pilasters on the three full floors ; At the level of the second floor, these show the year 1682. The three-storey tail gable shows a pilasters dividing storeys between double cornices . Four masonry pillars of different strengths characterize the view of Bechermacherstrasse.

The building was damaged in the bombing raid on Stralsund on October 6, 1944 and renovated between 1959 and 1962. During the renovation, the previously central house entrance was relocated to Bechermacherstraße.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 705.
