The Bedik language (ISO 639-3 is tnr; also bande, basari du bandemba, budik, ménik, tandanke, tenda and tendanke) is a West Atlantic language spoken by 3,380 members of the Bedik ethnic group , who live in southeastern Senegal by name Inhabited Iwol Plateau . The traditional name for the language is Ménik . It belongs to the group of Tendik languages ​​within the Niger-Congo language family .

The language is almost extinct as the speakers are increasingly adopting French, the official language of Senegal. Bedik is related to the language Basari [bsc].
