BeeTagg
BeeTagg was a 2D barcode with honeycomb structures suitable for mobile tagging . Equipped with the appropriate software ( BeeTagg Reader ), the BeeTagg can be read with a mobile phone . BeeTagg was developed by the Swiss company connvision AG. Today (as of 2017) the company markets products in the field of conventional QR codes with square elements under the name.
Working principle
In contrast to other 2D barcodes (e.g. QR code , semacode, etc.), a BeeTagg does not directly contain application information. Rather, these are only assigned to the corresponding BeeTagg code through web access to the BeeTagg server. There are 10 34 possible different BeeTaggs.
Stamp
In autumn 2007, Swiss Post sold a stamp on which a BeeTagg is depicted, which serves as a link to a competition and to request information.
