The language Befang (also menchum , bifang, beba-befang, biba-bifang; ISO 639-3: bby) is one of the languages of Cameroon and is used as a bantoid grassland language by a total of 3,000 people from the Menchum ethnic group in the Cameroon region Northwest spoken.
The Menchum has different dialects: modele (beekuru, iku, aku, usheida, modelle, modeli, idele, ambabiko), ushaku (mukuru, mokuru), befang (ge, beba-befang, bifang, abefang), bangui (bangwe, bangwi ), obang and okomanjang (okoromandjang).
