Beglik Tasch or Begliktash (also Beglik Tash , or Begliktash , Bulgarian Бегликташ , or Беглик Таш ), in Bulgaria , is a religious complex that dates from the 14th century BC. It was used as a rock sanctuary until the 6th century AD and its stone remains have been partially preserved. The Beglik Tash sanctuary is located in the highest part (128 m above sea level) of the cape of the same name , which is part of the Maslen nos cape , about 3 km north of Primorsko . The sanctuary covers an area of 0.6 hectares, was built by the Thracians and was part of the ancient city of Ranuli at the mouth of the Ropotamo River into the Black Sea .

The forested territory on which the sanctuary is located once belonged to the hunting residence of the former communist leader Todor Zhivkov (reigned 1954–1989). Because of this, it remained unknown to science until 2003.
