Begunski tolk

Begunski tolk ( Бегунский толк , as Begunskij tolk transcribed) is Russian a generic term for various old-believers Begunen - sectarians in Russia : the Beguny (volatile) Pustynniki (hermits), Sopelkowzy (after the place Sopelki) and Stranniki (Wanderer) - all priestless Old Believers . The movement was founded in 1772 in the Yaroslavl Governorate , the founder of the movement was the former soldier Yefimi ( Efimij , Ефимий ) from Pereslavl-Zalessky . They broke up with the Filippians , who criticized them for compromising with the worldly power of the Antichrist .

There are supporters of the movement in the Oblasts of Yaroslavl and Saratov , in the North Urals , in West Kazakhstan and Belarus .
