Rita Marketta Behm , mostly known only as Behm , is a Finnish singer and songwriter.

biography

Rita Behm first drew attention to herself at the end of 2016 when she was selected as one of nine participants in the band Apulanta's song camp . Together with Ella-Noora Kouhia, she then formed the duo Behm & Ellis . At the beginning of 2017 they appeared in the supporting program of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (national ESC preliminary decision) with the song Hietalahden Hidalgo .

The duo did not last, but Behm got a record deal and less than a year later recorded the song Solmussa with rapper Pikku G , which she co-wrote. The song was a number one hit and topped the charts in Finland for 4 weeks.

This was followed by further contributions as a songwriter and as a guest singer. In spring 2019 she returned to the charts as a singer with Keko Salata and had a top 10 hit with the jointly written song Vanha . Half a year later followed her first own single Hei rakas . It rose to number 8 and reached number 1 3 weeks later.
