The Chinese automobile and commercial vehicle manufacturer Beijing Automobile Works launched the Mercedes-Benz Actros with visual changes in 2014 . The cooperation with Mercedes-Benz has existed since 1977. While the final assembly of the vehicles was only carried out on behalf of the German group until 2004, it was agreed to combine full production of the vehicles in the joint venture company Beijing Benz founded for this purpose . Almost a decade later, the manufacturer is now bringing its own models onto the market for the first time, using models from Mercedes as the basis for development. But unlike other Chinese manufacturers, they do not use the existing models, but rather those that are not yet available on the Chinese market.
