Beinn a'Charra

Bheinn a 'Charra (also called An Carra) is an approximately 5.0 m high Neolithic menhir ( English Standing stone ) covered in lichen , east of Stoneybridge (also Staoinebrig) in the center of the Outer Hebridean island of South Uist in Scotland .

Beinn a'Charra

There is a crannog in nearby Loch Beinn A 'Charra . A menhir of the same name, also known as Clach Bharnach Bhraodag - "Freya's Limpets Stone" - over 2.75 m high, 1.95 m wide and 0.75 m thick and inclined to the south stands on North Uist .
