Belén Gualcho is a municipality ( municipality ) in the Ocotepeque department in Honduras .
The small town was founded in 1715 in the middle of the Honduran mountainous landscape of the Ocotepeque department and is located near Gracias, in the south is San Sebastian. The most striking building in the village is the La Trinidad church, built in the colonial style . Sunday is market day, when members of the Lenca ethnic group in the village buy the essentials for their daily needs and also sell them themselves.
