The Belén Lake (in Chile Laguna Belén ) is a 150 m long lake on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . At the southern end of the Fildes Peninsula , it is just north of Belén Beach , from which it is separated by a previously unnamed rock formation and a boulder.
Chilean scientists named it around 1996. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated the name into English in 2007. The other naming background is not stored.
