The BelAZ-7513 ( Russian БелАЗ-7513 ) is a large dump truck from the Belarusian manufacturer BelAZ , which has been in series production since 1996. It is designed to move large quantities of overburden in deep open-cast mines with difficult conditions.
Development history
The serial production of the BelAZ-7513 in the payload range of 130 tons began in 1996 and replaced the previous model BelAZ-7519 with a payload of 120 tons. In particular, the equipment with a more efficient Cummins engine instead of the usual Soviet or Russian diesel engines as well as improvements in maintenance friendliness were significant changes compared to the predecessor. As of December 2019, the BelAZ-75131 is the most frequently sold BelAZ model. A total of 4,000 BelAZ-7513s were produced in different versions by September 24, 2019 and exported in larger numbers to Vietnam , Uzbekistan , Russia and South Africa , among others . Since 2018, BelAZ has been testing self-propelled large dump trucks with the designation BelAZ-7513R with the Russian company VIST Robotics on the non-public roads of the Khakass Abakansky opencast mine. A remote-controlled operator sits in a simulator-like driver's cab that is equipped with pedals, a steering wheel and several screens . The movement of each dump truck is transmitted directly to the driver, who can intervene if necessary. This should make it possible for one operator to control three to five automatic BelAZ-7513Rs.
technology
The BelAZ-7513 is all-wheel drive (4 × 4) and reaches a maximum of 64 km / h. In the standard version it is 11.5 m long, 7.0 m wide and 5.9 m high; the wheelbase is 5.3 m. The tipper can be used at temperatures from −50 ° C to +50 ° C. The drive is diesel-electric with a twelve-cylinder diesel engine from Cummins Engine . The QSK 45-C engine has a displacement of 45 liters and has an output of 1600 hp (1194 kW) at 1900 revolutions per minute. In addition to other Cummins engine models, there is a choice of the 12V4000 diesel engine from MTU Detroit Diesel with 1194 kW or 1400 kW. The electric traction motors are on the axles; the torque is transmitted to the wheels via planetary gears . The turning radius is 13 m. The suspension works hydropneumatically; There are stabilizers on both axles . The two-seater driver's cab, which is secured against falling objects in accordance with FOPS safety regulations, is attached above the left front wheel and can be reached via a ladder-staircase combination at the front of the vehicle. The manufacturer BelAZ offers different tipping bodies with different dimensions and loading capacities. Depending on the version, they hold 45.5 m³, 50.1 m³, 59.6 m³ or 103.8 m³ and can be moved from the horizontal into the tilting position with two hydraulic cylinders. The maximum payload is specified as 130 or 136 tonnes, depending on the tire used, the manufacturer specifies the empty weight of the BelAZ-7513 as 109.5 tonnes. The permissible total mass is accordingly 239.5 or 245.5 tons.
